SIGN (PERMANENT)
Our Lady arrived: “Praise be Jesus.” The visionaries asked again for a sign and the Gospa said yes there will be a sign. They asked how long She would continue to visit them: “My sweet angels, even if I were to leave the sign, many
people will not believe. Many people will only come here and bow. People must be converted and do penance.”-July 21, 1981.

“It is up to me to fulfill the promise. Regarding the faithful, have them pray and believe firmly!” -October 17, 1981

Again the visionaries ask about the sign. “The sign will appear at the desired time.”-January 21, 1982

“I do not dispense all graces. I receive from God what I obtain through prayer. God has placed His complete trust in Me. I particularly protect those who have been consecrated to me. The great sign has been granted. It will appear independently of the conversion of the people.”-August 31, 1982

“Hasten your conversion. Do not await the sign which as been announced for those who do not believe; it will be too blate. You who believe, be converted and deepen your faith.”-Spring 1983

“Hurry to be converted. Do not wait for the great sign. For the unbelievers, it will be too late to be converted. For
you who have faith, this time constitutes a great opportunity for you to be converted and to deepen your faith.”

“The sign will come, you must not worry about it. The only thing that I would want to tell you is to be converted.
Make that known to all my children as quickly as possible. No pain, no suffering is to great for me in order to save you.
I will pray to my Son not to punish the world; but I plead with you be converted…”-June 24, 1983

“This sign will be given for the atheists. You faithful already have signs and you have to become the sign for the atheists. You faithful must not wait for the sign before you convert: convert soon. This time is a time of grace for you. You can never thank God enough for his grace. The time is for deepening your faith and for your conversion. When the time comes it will be too late for many.” Date to be verified

SECRETS
“I wish for Fr. Slavko to stay here, to guide lives and to assemble the good news so that when I leave, there will be a complete record of everything that has happened here…”-February 3, 1985

Mirjana has chosen Father Pero Ljubicic to reveal the first three warnings to the world, three days before the event takes place. Mirjana has received a document containing the ten secrets. Father Pero will be asked to read from it at the proper time. He will only see the secret he is to reveal to the world. Then, at the proper time he will see and reveal the next secret, and the next etc. according to Heaven’s plan. “Pray very much for Father Pero to whom I send a special blessing. I am a mother, that is why I come. You must not fear for I am here.”-October 25, 1985

Concerning putting the date and description of the sign in a sealed envelop and putting it in the archives: “No! I have entrusted that only to you. You will unveil it when I tell you. Many persons will not believe you, I know, and you will suffer very much for it. But you will endure everything and you will finally be the happiest.”- May, 1982

Concerning the secrets, my children, these are not known by anyone. But when they learn of them, it will be too late. Return to prayer! There is nothing more important! I would dearly wish that the Lord would permit me to enlighten you a little more on these secrets, but the grace which is offered you is already great enough. Think how much you have already offended him. What are you offering to Him of yourself? When was the last time you renounced something for the Lord? I no longer wish to reprimand you, but I wish to invite you once more to prayer, fasting and penance. If you wish to receive a grace from God by fasting, then let no one know you are fasting. If you wish to receive a grace from God by a gift to the poor, let no one know except you and the Lord that you have given this gift. Listen to me my children! Meditate on my message in prayer.”-January 28, 1987

SIGNS AND WONDERS
The visionaries ask if the whiteness of the cross (on that day on Cross Mountain) is a supernatural phenomena. “Yes it is.” Many saw the cross transform itself a light and then into a silhouette of Our Lady. “All of these signs are designed to strengthen your faith until I leave you the visible and permanent sign.”-October 22,1981

The visionaries asked Our Lady about the great light three girls saw on their way home after Mass. Within the light they saw fifthteen figures. “It was a supernatural phenomenon. I was among the saints.”-October 25, 1981

The visionaries ask if the Gospa appeared at Krizevac the day before for thirty minutes. “Yes, didn’t you see me?” – October 28, 1981

Regarding the fire that hundreds of people saw that burned but did not consume anything. “The fire seen by the faithful was of a supernatural character. It is one of the signs, a forerunner of the great sign.”-October 29, 1981

The Gospa appeared and was very happy. She blessed everyone. Marija recommended everyone present to Our Lady and then She prayed the Lord’s Prayer and the Glory Be. Our Lady’s message: “I invite you to pray and give your life completely to God. I will give you strength and I will help you in all your needs. You can ask for everything that you need to help you. I will intercede for you before God. ” The Blessed Mother said she would appear the next morning in the field near a large pine tree and Our Lady extended an invitation for all to attend.” -November 23, 1988

The apparition took place near a large tree in a field near the home where Marija was staying. Our Lady appeared and was very happy. She looked at all who had gathered there. She blessed everyone. Marija recommended everyone present to Our Lady who began to pray the Lord’s Prayer and the Glory Be. Our Lady’s message: “I invite you to live my messages. I am here to help you! I will intercede to you before God for all your intentions.” Several hundred people were present, when She left Our Lady said: “Go in peace.” (Thanksgiving Day in the USA)-November 24, 1988

The night of August 15, 1988 on apparition hill, the Blessed Mother ended Her apparition by leaving in a luminous cross of glory. Eyewitnesses in the village who were not on the hill, reported around the hour of the apparition they saw a huge white light move from cross mountain slowly toward apparition hill where it lingered for about ten minutes. Those in the fields at the foot of the hill and mountain said there appeared to be a rosary of light stretched vertically from the cloud of light hovering over apparition hill. There was a sense of great peace everywhere in the village, notwithstanding the crowds and summer heat.-August 15, 1988

Marija shares the Gospa’s message with a group of seminarians who attended an apparition: “Tell them, that with prayer, one obtains everything.” -1984

give thanks in order for you to give thanks for all that His love offers us at Medjugorje.”-February 25, 1985

“Dear children, all these years I have been calling you to prayer, to live what I am telling you, but you are living my messages only a little. You only talk but do not live them. That is why my dear children, this war is lasting so long… In this world without peace, give witness to God and God’s love and God will bless you and give you what you seek of him. Thank you for responding to my call.”-October 25, 1993

” I was ten years old when Our Lady appeared the first time. I never thought about an apparition . We lived here, we were poor, and had not heard about other apparitions, not even Lourdes or Fatima…for me in that moment nothing else existed. My heart burned with desire for the apparition to happen again.” Jacov commented in an interview on December 7, 1998

VICKA IVANKOVIC MIJATOVIC
She asked on September 25, 1988: “…three people holding letters she had given them months before simultaneously to open them in the presence of two witnesses. Each letter contained the following information-her illness was God’s gift to her, it was not a punishment. The purpose of the illness was to help heal the illness of sinners. Her sacrifice would be completed on September 25th. On that date she would be healed of her illness.

“When we speak about forgiveness, I need to mention what Our Lady. She said we are to forgive ourselves first. Once we are able to forgive ourselves, we will be able to forgive others. MIRJANA DRAGICEVIC SOLDO
“When Our Lady says non-believers, She means even those people who go to church just out of habit or for tradition.
She wants us all to consider the church as our home and God as our father, so that we may be able to ask Him “What
do you want? What do You need? For Our Lady , people who act thus are believers.”

…”Most of the time (on the 2nd of the month) during the encounter with Our Lady is spent in prayer. When She comes I see Her with my heart, like Jelena, but I also hear Her speak, but with my eyes closed just like a person talks to me. This has happened right from the beginning. Lately however, I can see Her with my eyes…(on the 2nd of the month nearly all the apparition is taken up by prayer)…She always says that we do not pray enough…

In the first year of the apparitions, we asked Our Lady what we should do with our lives. She said “Do what God wants , and what you feel in your heart.” I felt that I had to form a family. She said that in these times there is a need for Catholic families that serve as a model for others…we pray together, we go to church: God is always first for us. LOCUTIONISTS
MARIJANA VASILJ & JELENA VASILJ
In October 1988 received special gifts from God-inner locutions and visions. “The voice we hear only while praying. There is no specific time but usually after evening Mass here in Medjugorje…” At the beginning Our Lady asked us to form a prayer group. We told the priests in Medjugorje who revealed that was Our Lady’s wish. Young people came forward to the call to prayer…Now we meet 3 times a week. We pray the rosary as well as other spontaneous prayers, read the Gospel and Our Lady’s messages and sing
