We travel together from the U.S. for Medjugorje with meals served enroute.

Day 2 Medjugorje
We are met and driven to Medjugorje usually arriving early afternoon. Since we stay with  the visionary’s family home of Vicka’s brother or Jacov the visionary – they welcome us and prepare our meals, it feels as if you are at home on Apparition Hill. (refer to map.)  Our orientation walk includes::  the Adoration Chapel, the Risen Christ and Apparition Hill.

Day 3 -4 – 5 Medjugorje – A Place Called Peace – Apparition Hill – Meet the visionaries  Cross Mountain  Blue Cross Cenaclo Oasis of Peace
Our guide accompanies you throughout our stay to your  meetings  and of any other private arrangements for you.  We follow the path to start the climb up Apparition Hill where they first saw the Blessed Mother. Many times Ivan, Vicka and Marija would often gather with their prayer groups to pray there before the Blessed Mother appeared to them.

Day 6 Holy Rome
On arrival we are met by our Peace Center Tours representative who accompanies us throughout our stay and assists us to our hotel located within walking distance of the Vatican.      

DAY 7  In the footsteps of the Saints St. Peter’s Basilica
This brief description is certainly not enough to transmit the deep emotions you will feel when you visit this special place. Travel back in time to the sacred gravesite of St. Peter as we descend from the upper church to the the tomb of St. Peter below. Who wouldn’t be moved at visiting the sites where St. Peter was crucified and St. Paul was beheaded, where St. John was cast into boiling oil and where Peter asked of Christ “Lord, whither goest Thou?” on the Via Appia Antica where time seems to have stood still since the days when Nero and Saint Paul walked these roads. We lead you down to the incredible ruins of the Roman and Imperial Forums, about 30 feet below the current level of the city, where you will learn about the ancient markets, basilicas, and temples; see where the Senate was and where the most important figures in ancient times spent their days. Your guide will bring to life this ancient place so you can imagine what it was like to live in one of the most important places in history…two thousand years ago.. and finish with our walk inside the Colosseum.

DAY 8 Assisi Through enchanting Umbria’s lush vineyards and rolling hills to a place where our worries give way to inspiration-Assisi. We ascend to the mystical city of St. Francis and St. Clare encircled by ramparts, hardly changed since the Middle Ages. Our prayers are heard as we visit his crypt and the convent of the incorrupt body of St. Clare is a profound experience. Intimate places in the lives of these two saints is intertwined when we visit the place of his baptism, Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Portiuncula – the roseto into which St. Francis threw himself to overcome temptation, the cave in which he lived and the cross where St. Francis received his stigmata. A full day’s visit.

DAY 9-10-11 Holy Rome Vatican Museums Papal blessing in St. Peter’s Square. The extraordinary experience visiting the vast underground Catacombs complex; – the sacred tomb of the great Apostle St. Paul (at the time it was built it was beyond the walls of the old city) built by Constantine to enshrine the tomb of St. Paul; along the Way to the underground Catacombs, the Baths of Caracalla, the Arch Titus, the miraculous crucifix of St. Brigid, are only some places we visit today. The Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel are included.

On our walk today visits include the truly majestic St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran, the Mother Church of Rome, containing many art treasures and important historical monuments sanctified by the faith and devotion of centuries. Across the square is the Scala Santa, which according to tradition, are the 28 steps Christ ascended on his way to meet Pilate. Visit the Pantheon begun in 27 B.C.; the place and church where St. Agnes was paraded naked to the crowd while being martyred. Visit the church where the chains of St. Peter are revered. We will see Caravaggio’s world renowned paintings �St. Matthew with the Angels The Calling of St. Matthew’s “The Martyrdom of St. Matthew”. Stopping at the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps before we continue to the outstanding church containing the art and sculpture of prolific Bernini as well as the deeply moving Risen Christ by Michelangelo and tombs of St. Catherine of Siena & Fra Angelico.
