Medjugorje – San Giovanni

Day 1 Depart the United States on an evening trans-atlantic flight connecting to your flight for Croatia.
Day 2 – 5 Medjugorje
You are introduced to the family where you stayFr. Joseph from San Giovanni told of a lady called Rose who wanted to know if she would get Married. As you know, Padre Pio had special gifts from God. One was the gift called “the word Of knowledge.” He knew things which were going to happen. She asked Padre Pio but received no answer. A friend of hers was visiting the Friary and was asked to get her an answer. Eventually Padre Pio said “Tell Rose that she will become a Carnation!” Everyone thought it was some sort of joke or that perhaps Padre Pio’s mind was wearing out! Within a year Rose had married a man whose name meant “Carnation.”

Day 6  Medjugorje San Giovanni Rotondo
After breakfast & Mass, private transfer to depart Medjugorje for your flight to San Giovanni Rotondo. Upon arrival you are met and transferred to your Hotel at the Shrine of Saint Padre Pio.

Day 7 – 9 Sanctuary of Saint Pio
Walking visit accompanied by your guide of the Shrine and Sanctuary of Saint Pio including his cell and other significant places in the life of Saint Pio. Along the way explaining the historical development of the Sanctuary as you make your way to Saint Pio’s very special crypt, Santa Maria delle Grazie Church, where he said Mass, his cell that contains books & clothing that belonged to him, the Sala San Francesco where he greeted the faithful including the Via Crucis. Breakfast & Dinner

Day 10 Monte Sante Angelo
After breakfast your guided visit is the Cave of Monte Sant’ Angelo the Sanctuary, the Crypts, the Altar of the Madonna, the Bronze doors, the Altar of St. Michael the Archangel as well as the Reconciliation Chapel & Holy Cave of St Michael. Breakfast & Dinner

Day  11 Return Home
